Hello All!
I am thinking of modding the AI visual search. Specifically: 1. Shorten their NIGHT-TIME visual range somewhat. 2. Make them less sensitive to detect a surfaced u-boat at night due to its movement. I can pull off surface attacks as GWX currently exists if I get ahead into position, go to 0 speed and keep my aspect narrow (bow pointed at enemy). However as soon as I hit 1 to begin to maneuver, they spot me. I'd like to tweak that a bit to make it more realistic while not tweaking it so mush as to make it super easy. In my perfect world, I'd be able to set different parameters for merchants vessels and escorts but I'm pretty sure that would be brutally difficult to achieve. I'm on a quest for "the middle ground". Thanks! |
