Periscope controls

When I press LMB to control the periscope and press it back again, the cursor automatically goes to fire button and presses it. What am I doing wrong?

What GUI do you use? IIRC on the site had this problem and its solution by shifting the initial position of the cursor or the torpedo trigger button.
