Been playing GWX and SH4 for years now playing twos - great work there! Got a little issue; I like to mark up the map with lines, radius and marks as aids to nav and hunting. In SH3/4, they are always saved on map when I save a game in progress and reload and only disappear when start new patrol. TWoS drops all my marks between saves (e.g., put in couple lines for convoy routes and an "X" for reported convoy posit, save game, reload later and only sunk ship markers and objective markers are in place and all my previous mark ups are gone). Is there a setting I need to change to keep these between saves? Thanks!

To save supermarks, navigation fixes and crew messages you need to 'save journal'. It's the icon on the right below the Captain's Log. Enter a name in the journal dialogue and hit accept.
Then, each time you relaod a save you must reload the journal, it will not load automatically. Note that placing supermarks is somewhat tricky: you need to zoom out first on the map to place them, after that you can zoom in and move them accurately to the desired position. Only the above will be saved, normal marks, protactor lines, circles etc. will disappear when you leave session. Cheers, XS |
