Hello,
So started my campaign and went first after polish shipping. First patrol gave me 3 kills. However, I had noticed that it would seems freighters can spot you at 10km when is day? I was trying to chase them flank speed (no decks awash) and around 10km I think they would start to alter their course bcs of me. Lets not mention one freighter that even called on me escort (but I ended up torping him in front of his friend anyway). So detection ranges day/night? How they work? How to shadow targets safely? |

Hi NC,
You can adjust everything in data/Scripts/AI/init.AIX Visual difficulty, Hydrophone difficulty, Radar difficulty, Sonar difficulty... for merchants or not merchants ![]() Best is to create new folder with correct path (as i told you above) and copy paste your new init.AIX (so you don’t brake original TWOS) and put it in TWOS parts so you can activate it in TWOS Jsgme. Or if you don’t do that, make a copy somewhere of your original init.AIX Hope that helps ![]()

However this is not what I asked for, but still I checked the file what is in it. Now I saw there are difficulty levels but it does not tell me what is in m detection range for merchants/military vessels. Is there some information on that on what I can expect in m or km when to be detected? Thank you |
