Sorry this isnt in the SH5 topic, but for some reason it says "Registered viewers have access to this forum"?? It's the only one that is so I posted hear.
Anywho, I finally got my friend to buy SH5 on steam so we can play together, but when I create a mission on ubi.com under multiplayer tab, he can't see my game, but I can enter it ok and sail around. If he creates a game and I look, it never shows up either. We have both tried uninstalling and reinstalled, refresh a million times... nothing helps. Any ideas? My second thought was to just do a direct hosting and connection under the lan tan, but there is no way to enter the ip address of the host?? Does it REALLY mean LOCAL NET only? I hope someone can help, at the very least he can return his steam purchase I think since it wont work... I play singleplayer and have it for years so don't mind, but I would have loved to play it with friends finally. Thanks all! |

I can be wrong but I think the multiplayer part of SH5 is down since several years (SH5 had so many problems in the past that I doubt there were a lot of MP fans for the game), but a pure LAN connection with your friends could work I imagine.
Note: Ubisoft is no longer in control of this game, it's Uplay and I don't know if they offer multiplayer for SH5 on a server, I never heard about anyway. Last edited by XenonSurf; 05-12-18 at 09:04 PM. |
