I used to guard one of these in Oakland. You wouldn't belive how many time people would sneak in their 4-5 kids in the trunk: "defrauding an innkeeper'. The giveaway was the tail end of the car riding a 'little low' on the shocks....

You suppose they'll feature The Ten Commandments or Kingdom of HEAVEN and serve brews and dogs with popcorn!

JEEZE! They even used to feature X-rated at the old Sonomarin Drive-in along HW 101 at Petaluma CA. Hunter S. Thompson mentions this drive-in in the article "A Clean, Ill-lighted place" in his book "Generation of Swine".

sadly it was demolished in 1991....
