Hey, this is nice. Only just over 5 weeks, I think, so I'll have to get my Santa suit out soon and my nutsack.

I'd like a really nice single malt whisky, that's all, plus some peace and quiet by a roaring fireside to enjoy it

JEEZE! I gotta go with Steed on this one. At 66 and having just spent a better part of a week with two cars loaded (Priorities man!: Checkbook, passport, catfood and litter with box-two carriers-wife's jewelry casket etc) and clean underwear) ready to leave my house to the fires, less is more and everything(new stuff) just doesn't matter. A new book from my daughter on my Kindle perhaps and a good Christmas dinner with the local vino gets it!

My wish list: some crisp, cold dry weather; some uninterrupted time off from my job; eggnog (nonalcoholic, of course); chili; snow; visits with family and friends and a couple of good movies.
