Another Chazley question..

Hey Chazley, as a frequent stalker of yours on Youtube

and knowing you learned to speak Russian, I have a theory I wanted to test out..

Suppose you wanted to translate "Man Battle Stations!" into Russian and then translate it back into English. Would it come back as "Reinforce Alert!"?

Its just a hunch..

You will have to wait for Chazly to answer but I think not. The Russian Navy version of Battle stations I believe is Combat Alert, in Russian it is Боевая тревога.

For them to say reinforce alert would not make sense.

If you have any good missions you'd like me to check out, throw them my way! Most missions I've been playing lately have been buggy or messed up and it gets quite annoying.

Maybe post a vid of what you're finding in 1.43 and the newer versions of RA and how its going to change how you play?

For example, that third phase of Sicilian Wedding (sneaking into the harbor) has turned into a real hoot.

It was supposed to be tough when Bill wrote it, its damn near impossible now.
I have something I want to try but I'm also waiting for RA to "stabilize" in terms of our strengths vs the AI.

I wrote about it last week, the rules seem to be changing and it looks like we don't have the upper hand vs the AI like we used to. That got me P-O'd at first but now I'm seeing it differently, it could be a game-changer (pun intended) in terms of training and deployment, how WE approach the game.

That's great for experienced players who might have found DW getting stale but imagine what it's done to players who are just getting into it?

The risk is having the new blood delete the game or hang on to it but never play it.
