So I am confused on this one. I was playing the single mission "Skirmish in the Denmark Straight" using a Sturgeon class sub.
I got within 5 KYD of a Kashin escort. I fired four mk37 torps at the Kashin. Two of the torps were wire guided. The other two were not. All four torps locked onto the Kashin but the Kashin kept turning in a circle. It kept out-turning the torps. Even the two I was guiding by wire could not catch it. I tried guiding the wire guided torps across the circle it was turning in but they still could not hit it. It eventually got away after the torps ran out of gas. Is this realistic? Can a surface escort really out-turn an mk37? |

Well he should be able to outrun them easily since he has a 10kt advantage. There's a bug currently where speed does not bleed off in turns like it should, so he can maintain his 30+ kts indefinitely throughout the turns.

if he's turning clockwise....send your wire guided counter clockwise.
