Hi
I have the Epic version of SH5 Gold. I'm wondering if there's a better version to use with some/most/all mods. I did search around on the forum, but didn't really find a consensus. Thanks! |

As far as I'm concerned, if you want a straight-up, easy enough to apply mod, then The Wolves of Steel v2.2.25 (TWoS) is the only option. If you have the disk version of the game, and want to get into heavy realism, then Sober's "All-In-One MegaMod" package, found in the Bonus Mods section is the way to go...

Thanks for the mod recommendations!
However... I'm looking for which iteration of the game is "best" overall. Is the Epic SH5 Gold I have good, is Steam better, etc. Or is it worth it to just hunt for the disc version? Thanks! |

if you browse the SH5 forum, you will see a number of Sticky threads. take the time to read through them to see what others have encountered and how they resolved their issues. the same is true for SH4.

Thanks - that's pretty much what I figured. Off to hunt for the disc version!
