Default Hello all

New Subsim member here. I've only been a console player up until recently when I purchased a laptop good for gaming. I've always been a fan of history specifically naval warfare history. Researching games I came across the Silent Hunter series. I purchased 4 and 5 and I've been having a hell of a fun time. So that's why I'm here introducing myself. You will probably see me posting questions on different threads because this would be the place to find answers for these games. Also if anyone can recommend some more games like the SH series. I am a huge fan of WW1 and WW2. Thank you all for reading this (if you did haha).

Hey dude welcome! You've certainly came to the right place for your subsimming needs, and for your WW1 & WW2 interests. Plenty of us with the same interests around here too!

I'd definitely recommend SH3. Should check out World of Warships too since it's free to play, so that won't hurt your wallet.

Welcome to Subsim JSweaty009. Great introduction as well.

As Delanski said, Silent Hunter 3 is another great simulation. It's even better with various mods you can add on like GWX and NYGM and others. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and enjoy your time here and your sims.

Again, welcome aboard.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I knew I found the right place with kindred spirits. Delanski thanks for the recommendation on SH3 downloaded last night and again had a great time hunting the waters. When I had the Xbox 360 I did have both Battlestation games they had and it was pretty much all I played. So when I found out last night I can play them on my pc I was ecstatic. I knew jumping ship from console to pc was the right choice. Thank you all again.

Hi there! First of all, welcome to the forum. There are many more games in SH series, which you can play. You can also get a different list of SH series games by searching online. Mostly I play games like Resident Evil 7, fall-out cry on xbox. Also, there are different feature of games are available to download on Xbox Live. Get more information about the games by searching online.
