Widescreen MaGui, disable green reticles?

Im using NYGM + Widescreen MaGUI + The MaGUI fix for NYGM. Works great! love the manual aiming tools provided by MaGUI.
However i have a problem, at dawn when the sky is just lighting up, the reticles on my obs & attack periscopes are still colored green, and when i set the sights against a ship, i just cant see the markings on the reticle to take mesurements!

Does anyone know of a way to:
A) Disable this green reticle completely
B) change the color to say red
C) Change the time of day the reticle changes from green to black, so that it changes to black earlier.

Ideally i would prefeer B or C, as the green reticle is awesome during night, but if not possible then any of the above would be great, as i just cant use the excellent tools during this time of day, due to me being unable to measure the ships.

P.S. i know there are "night filters" included with the standard (non WS) version of MaGUI, but 1 - they change the background not the reticle, and 2- they dont work with WS magui.

Any help greatly appreciated!
