Hello!
After the 51.0.1. patch to my 64bit FF, I've noticed some ridiculously high RAM usage after having FF on for hours. Turns out, the most likely culprit for this is Adblock+, which seems to have a problem unloading the RAM it uses. At highest today, my FF RAM usage was at 3.4GB. I have now switched to uBlock Origin and I have to try really hard to get RAM usage past 1GB and keep it there. Just a FYI. ![]() |

Thanks for the heads-up. I did not knew that, but it seems to be no specifically new problem, but a very old one. Quick first research shows complaints from 2014, and before, for example:
http://lifehacker.com/adblock-plus-o...ase-1576341872 https://betanews.com/2014/05/15/is-a...-firefox-down/ Note that Adblock can more than double, can increases by factors memory usage of FF.
