greetings, hello, and i could use your help.

heya fellow subbers...
i need some help with the sh5 grand atlantic campaign...
the game tells me i need to speak to the captain, but i cant find him....i'm instructed to go to the command room and find 2 ladders and i havent been able to find 2 separate ladders so i'm guessing i need to take the 2 ladders that would take me outside...but if i need to find him up there, big shocker, i'm underwater so i'm thinking i mustve accidentally submerged the boat by inadvertantly hitting my "v" key, so without gilding the lily any further, is the old man supposed to be up there, even more simply put, is that the "bridge" at the top of the conning tower?? cuz if it is, i'm going to be standing tall before the man...virtually speaking
