Very Simple Mod Idea for Adding Immersion When Leaving Port

So you know when you are leaving the pen and just steering your boat past all the other docked ships and subs?

I find it utterly silly that your lookouts suddenly shout " Ship Sighted! Short Range"

I know! - because we are still in port! and the ship you have ' sighted ' is always docked 20 meters from our freaking pen! (Then a few seconds later you hear "Smoke on the Horizon!!")

Would it be a good idea or possible to make a mod which disables ship sighting reports until you are a few miles out and clear of your home port ?

Seems like it would be a pretty simple thing to do? (not that I can code to save my life!)

Just an idea. Any thoughts?
