Battle Report - White Cyclone (5th Nov, 2016)

Yesterday we played a scenario called White Cyclone:

Long play, above 3 hours. But could be longer ...

Because some of us played for the first time, I chose a mission, without any specific target, just Team Death Match to practice targeting and cooperation.

Me, Tamburello and Figmo42 on one side, against the rest of the players.

Let's the game begin

Of course, a lot of contacts everywhere. And there were silent LAs somewhere. I went to PD, and raised a radio mast. I got a position of our Lada sub, and Tamburello. However a technical problem occurred. I do knot why, but linked postion of Tamburello, disappeared. And till the end of the game I did not have his postion. And later on, it was one of the cause, that we failed the mission. I started to gather data. And I found suspected contact at the north.

I observed it, and decided that it could be an enemy, because it was circulating. I launched 2 passive Sizzlers ASW. One of them were shot down. This gave me a confidence, that for sure, there were a FFG. So I launched 2 Sizzlers SSM and sunk the OH Perry.

Next the game started to be like a play between cats and mouses. Unfortunately Figmo42's DW crashed. So we stayed alone with Tamburello. Moreover the AI Heli stacked in one position (of course near me), and pinged with his sonar all the time. It was so frustrating. Again a lot of contacts everywhere.

I was chasing for a long time by a torpedo, launched by Ice the Dice. But I managed to evade it. On the other side my passive fish, almost hit him. Almost - it means that I missed, but sunk a fishing boat.

Torpedoes were everywhere. Tamburello wanted to shot down the heli, and I was supposed to protect him. However I did not have his position, and it appeared the he was between me and Ice. Therefore he took to fishes on his ship. Sorry for that

But two more ADCAPs were chasing me. I speed up and went down as deep as possible. However, I did not noticed, that the bottom is so close.

I hit the ground and kill myself. At the replay I noticed that I would have a lot of trouble evading this two fishes. On the other side, my two UGST were going towards Ice the Dice. So who knows

Thanks to all of you for the game. We can asses the scenario deferentially, but it was a pleasure to spend this time with you my friends.
