Aces High III

Aces High III went live this month. Large scale, continuous war taking place between three sides. Air combat, land combat, and sea combat with up to several hundred players all battling each other at the same time in the same arena. AHIII graphics now compete with WarThunder. WarThunder is now trying to play catch-up with AHIII by developing playable ships and PT boats. AHIII also is VR compatible. They even have a W.W.I combat arena.

Having played Aces High for about 15 years I personally find it to be one of the best W.W.II combat sims out there. The full game is free to download and you can play unlimited offline to get familiar with the weapons. All aircraft, ground vehicles, sea craft are immediately available (no pay to play). It also comes with a two-week free trial online (one of the last try before you buy games out there).
