Periscope ring dial mod?

Hello there,
i remember to have used an "original periscope" mod, wher you could adjust speed, distance and angle directly "on-the-scope" via some ring dials. Have forgotten the name for this though, but i hope you know what i mean.

It was possible to use it in SH4 with the OMEGU mod (german boats, missions etc. in SH4), however there were some settings to observe due to different screen resolutions.

a) Is this ring dial mod incorporated in some SH3 mod, and if where? It seems it is not in the GWX 3 Gold one, but i may be wrong.

b) The screen of my SH3 installation seems a bit distorted, left to right is stretched - is there any chance to run it on a modern flat screen without distortion, and in which mode would that be?

Hmm, have not found the OLC Gui gold for download yet, but i guess it is there, and maybe the MAGUI is even better (?)

This was my mods install back then from 0 to 14, still have it all for installation but GWX is on the earlier 2.1 version here:

Anything wrong with that ?
