Need some help with stability and mod lists

Hello everyone, first post here.

I bought SH3 a bit ago after re watching Das Boot and realizing that, hey, I want to do that! Been a big simulation fan for a long while, from IL-2 to Falcon 4.0, to War in the West to Hearts of Iron 3. Naturally, I wanted to make this experience as complete as I can. That said, I have been having a very hard time getting a stable experience.

Time for the particulars!

Windows 10 machine
Installed to C:\Users\Downloads\Silent Hunter III\SilentHunterIII
Installed GWX 3.0 and SH3Commander.
SH3 Commander installed to C:\SH3 Commander
All set to run as administrator in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode.

Hard installed the Res Fix mod.
Otherwise, JSGME list is:
Thomsen's Sound Pack V3.2cg
GWX - Captain America's Officer Icons
GWX - Enhanced Damage Effects
GWX - Integrated Orders
GWX - Main movie - 'Das Boot'
GWX - No Medals on Crew
GWX - Open Hatch Mod
SH-5 Water for GWX 3.0 V0.9 Atlantic campaign (default)
Sh3_volumetric_clouds&fog_V2.2
Foam

This works great, but if I try to add pretty much anything else including:
GWX 3 Wilhemshafen,St Naz,Schluese and xtra ships V6
TMTv2+ThomsensShips v4.4 for GWX3+Xtra ships
Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080 Final
Waterstr+Exhaust-CombiV2.3
Randomised Searchlights for GWX3

I would also like to somehow add the 'unofficial' patch.
I crash on the final ends of loading into a career. Also, any changes made to SH3 commander crashes the game, even after rollback and a new career.

If anyone could help me figure out how to have one of those long mod lists that everyone has I would greatly appreciate it. Lists as long as 30 mods are truthfully what I am aiming for. I also don't have a problem just copying others modlists as long as we have similar goals! I am looking to get things as complete as possible for after I complete my training career by being destroyed by those pesky depth charges after getting a few merchants in a convoy!

Also, if anyone has anything recommended, I'll download it immediately, I am looking to make the most immersive and realistic sh3 experience I can!

I scanned your post as I am currently doing some project work, so apologies if I missed it (I didn't see you mention it when I read through) but have you installed the 4GB patch? That may help.

I believe this is it:

It allows the game to use more RAM (I believe, I am not tech expert). It helped me with my CTDs, anyway.

Just download it and then point it to the sh3.exe file and it should patch it. Then see if you can use more mods!
