Hi. Im running the steam version of sub command and Dangerous Waters. there are some glitches in the akula sonar station both in sub command and dangerous waters. The bug also displays in other stations but it is less hard to see.
The bug consists in some kind of vertical lines over the circular sonar and it makes the graphics hard to see. No idea if it is ATI graphics related or windows 7/10. The games run flawlessly with the dll mod in dangerous waters and vanilla in sub command. Any help? Ideas? thanks in advance. Greetings. |

The Steam versions of Sonalysts' sims are very moody. First and foremost, have you tried disabling the Steam in-game overlay when the game is active? I have seen this resolve the problem for some people. It is not a guaranteed fix, but it is a start. If that doesn't work, try running the sim in compatibility mode (XP SP3) to see if it helps. I see this issue more on machines with Nvidia cards than Radeon, so this is a bit different.

Disabling the Steam overlay does not work. And running the game in xp comp mode crashes the game.
It´s a very uncomfortable and inconvenient visual glitch attacking the sonar you must be most sutile in. Well thanks for the responses. |
