I'm trying to use the ME in SH4 to create some single missions for testing purposes and after opening the ME and starting a new mission with the date and so forth all I get is a black screen on the world map. I recently switched to a XFX R9 380 graphics card and am wondering if that might be the problem as I was able to use the ME before that.
Anybody have any suggestions and are you able to use the ME in SH4 using a AMD graphics card?

Well, I've got an ATI card, but are you using any of the "world" files in the ME? I, for the life of me, can't remember the name(s) of the file... If that's "trashed", would that do a black screen? No data to display? ?? ... The rest of the computer works just fine with the new card, doesn't it?

I've figured out how to use the ME now. Still don't know what the problem is, but I can get around it. I have to go into the View dropdown and uncheck the toolbar. Then I can enter a starting date and then recheck the toolbar and everything works then. As long as it works That's all I want.

The file with all the places names... sheesh... where's my brain? I made a copy of the main one, and re-named it "PropbeaneezWorld.???", with the question marks being place holders for the real extension, like zon or dsd or something... it'd be nice to remember if for you. Maybe RR will, or CapnScurvy will come along and say "dum dum, go get gum gum" to me... I'll eventually find it. Could be the graphics card though, and I'm blaming it for now...
