Currupted graphics deck gun

Hi,
I have not posted here for some time but I have recently installed the UPlay version of the game, patched up date.
The problem I have is that the manned deck gun view has a series of large black geometric shapes that cluster around centre screen and make the use of the weapon impossible. I am running an Nvidia GTX 870 which is new, but this problem also existed on my last pooter which had a GTX 460.
Can anyone here assist?
