Massive Convoy of Destroyers

Holy Hell!!! What the heck is up with my game? I just ran into a what was described on the radio as a "Large Convoy". Large YES!! Convoy hell no!

Seriously there are like 80 Destroyers and other escorts in this convoy and that is it! The columns of ship run each 20 deep with lots of others around in between and on the edges.

Just North of Bismarck Sea June 29 1492 at 0400. Is this the gaming screwing up or is there intentionally these large of Destroyer Fleets running around.?

You can't even see all of them in this image because literally the 3 columns of ships run on for miles and miles.
