Adam and Jamie are very talented and creative guys. 14 years is a long time to keep people entertained. That is no small task.
I don't see how a reality show is the best the producers can come up with to find new hosts. I see failure on the horizon.

That is interesting. Especially since I've been following them of late a lot on a bunch of podcasts they do, in particular the one from Tested.com, which Adam is now a senior editor of.
I was under the impression they owned a bunch of the rights to Mythbusters. They've taken it on tour in a live show, and a few other things. So, I'm not sure how this would work. While I mourn the loss of the show, I can see them doing a once a year type special episode. I don't see a regular working that much anymore, as they were already struggling to find content (Adam tells of how Jamie thought they were done after the first couple episodes). |
