Hi, I couldn't find the answer by searching or google. I recently reinstalled everything after I couldnt get gxw to work,I installed the living mod. Anyway when I submerge the crew transfers to the electric room, but always leaves behind 3 guys so the engines stop ,thus giving the notice that not enough crew. I dont remember it being a problem in my previous games. What gives? The room is staffed but it doesn't transfer them all, if there is a officer then it's not a huge problem. Is there something I'm missing this time around, is there a solution? Thanks

It's always been that way. Mechanic-rated Petty Officers will switch automatically. Common sailors will switch automatically. Unrated Petty Officers will not switch. I'm not sure why this happens, but it does.
The answer is to use all non-rated POs somewhere else and fill the extra slots with regular sailors. Or you can use SH3 Commander to make more Mechanic-rated POs. In real life there's no such thing as an unrated Petty Officer anyway. Getting that rating is what makes you a PO. ![]()

Lol, Steve, in real life there is no such thing as an unrated sailor. In my years in the RAN I was a Chippie (an H rated stoker) but there used to be GD rated Sailors (General Duties), but all Sailors posted to sea duties had to be rated.
SHIV has this correct
