Former U.S President Jimmy Carter announces he is Cancer Free

Former President Jimmy Carter informed everyone through the news media that he is cancer free. President Carter, who is 91, made his good news known in front of a Sunday School class he was teaching at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia.

Carter's health announcement was first reported by the Atlant at a Journal-Constitution.

Quote from Jimmy Carter : My most recent MRI brain scan did not reveal any signs of the original cancer spots nor any new ones. I will continue to receive regular three-week immunotherapy treatments of pembrolizumab," Carter said in a statement. Carter announced in August that doctors had told him that four spots of cancer had spread to his brain. He said his fate "is in the hands of God, whom I worship."

Things were not looking well for President Carter a few months ago.

Mr. carter , who was a Naval officer and President of the U.S , has been honored for his humanitarian efforts with the Nobel Peace Prize.

A excellent example of how good often comes to good. Carter has proven himself to be more than just a person of good words; he is also a person of good deeds, someone who walks the walk. If ever there was someone who deserves a long life it's Jimmy Carter. He is someone who knows how to take those days he is given and make them as fully useful as possible in aiding others. Some politicians may talk about family values, Christian charity, and the giving heart of the American people, but he is one of the very, very few who live up to, and beyond, those very often merely political cliches and platitudes. Carter has been spared, I believe, not because of the advances of science and medicine, but because in the greater plan, there is a great need for people like him. A most sincere and heartfelt congratulations to President Carter and his family and hopes for his continued recovery...
