Nuke Please recommend a working Mod list please???

Hi im running GWX with commander + cfg files and hsie hardcode fixes as the default set up.

7 days 4 fresh reinstalls and countless hours sieving through forum posts and im done... need help!

problems encountered co2 levels not replenishing while surfaced and not refilling from compressed oxygen

JSGME recipe needed that includes ...

Must have the Magui final version included.

Mods id like are
Uniform mod.
Sound files i.e. Thomsens sound pack if compatible.
Flag on the conning tower... ive tried getting flag and pennant raising mod to work however shift and F has raised nothing but my blood pressure, same goes for any open hatch combination ive had.
Also would like to open hatches and visit as many compartments as is currently possible.

Please advise on the co2 issue as its a game killer.

Any other recommend mods along with a working recipe install list would be of immense relief...

This is the list i have available but i only have access to FM_interior_v3.2 which ive tried in this combination with zero effect in regards to hatch and flag feature.

images arent viewable sorry the list i had for the hatch and interior mod stated to use FM_interior 1.0 which i cant find.

Oxygen supply fix in the HSIE option selector was the issue... have left this unchecked.... compressed oxygen now also replenishes but i can live with that.

Thanks for posting your list. This makes it easier to point out that GWX_DFa-Flag&Pens_2010, DD_OH_V3.09, .FM_NewInterior_V1.0 and possibly a couple of the others all change the Commands.cfg file in the Cfg folder.

First, you need to install DFa Flag&Pens_2010 last to make the flags go up and down.

Better still, you need to learn what the Commands.cfg file does and how to modify it yourself.

I heartily recommend that you read this thread, with special attention to post #17.

Thanks for the reply... I had the flag up having read everything im adding via JSGME carefully that it has to be initialized before leaving port.

i added flags and pens by itself then tested, now ive added everything on top in that order only with interior 2.1 because i cant locate 1.0

And your right about the cfg files been overwritten while activating them on JSGME but proceeded as i assumed the list order had been created with that in mind.

just going to test it now

A part of my deal is to keep certain files in a special place. After experimenting with the Commands.cfg and Menu.ini and getting them the way I wanted I made a copy and put it in a special folder. Now when I add something new I can re-install the "my-way" files so they stay the same. If something else needs to be changed I compare the two files to see what I can do to keep it working, then save the new version for future use.

Ahhh i see, activating HSIE after the mods are in the pot.

Had briefly crossed my mind it was somehow related.

Haha yes i read #17 and i get it i truely do, ive reinstalled this game from scratch 5 times at least over the past week and read through every readme i can find, without asking i doubt i would've ever found post #15 on the same thread pointing out that the Supplement to V16B1 (JSGME) needs to be added after the Mods.

You need to install all other mods before you edit the menu.txt and Campaign_SCR.mis files for h.sie's patcher. Make sure that the file you edit is the file that will be copied in last by JSGME. Otherwise, you may lose functionality in that last mod. This is more important for Campaign_SCR.mis, and very important if you are also using Stiebler's patches, because Stiebler wants you to edit menu_1024_768.ini and having that file out of sync can could you grief.

IMO, the best procedure for setting up h.sie's and Stiebler's supplements is to use JSGME to activate all the mods you plan to use, then set up the h.sie and Stiebler supplemental folders, then activate those two with JSGME. If you are going to experiment with various mods, you might want to do that first, before setting up the two supplemental folders.

Cheers, its good to have a working template to go from to make trying new lists easier.

Im just making copies as Steve suggested as i go through key stages, should make things less time consuming if i gotta revert back to a working mod list!
