Sh3 where to buy

Hi,

i wanted to reinstall SH3 again.
Problem is that i simply lost the dvd.

Well not a big deal since SH3 is cheap these days.
The question i have is where to buy?

I dont want to loose a DVD again so i prefer some online service where i simply download the game.

Currently its very Cheap on steam and i see its also available in UPlay Store.
Is the UPlay Store Version same as the DVD Version?
Is that terrible anti piracy service (almost forgot the name) also included in that version?
Any Problems with Steam or UPlay version?

I found a few Topics about Steam but almost nothing about Uplay Version, so i hope you share some experiences with me.

If you can, the best source would be buying from Amazon via the Subsim link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/gw/ajax/s....ag=cyberknight

This way, Subsim gets a cut of the profit as well

Otherwise, I would also recommend Gamersgate: http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-SH3/silent-hunter-iii
Mainly since it includes no additional DRM with the download and shouldn't interfere with mods.

Though most people report that Steam is just fine as well.

It's on sale at steam for €2,99. Not quite sure how much that is in dollars.

I second Amazon...download was fast, the price was good...online version worked like a charm with Windows 7, whereas the DVD version I have requires work-arounds due to compatibility issues.
