Well, why would you expect her to keep silent about it, when she needs to score every political point possible?
And I don't mean that in either an approving or disapproving way. I just thought that this was exactly the job of a political candidate - you go and you draw attention to yourself and check off on important issues, and put spotlight on your "good deeds" etc. I don't know why you'd facepalm at someone for doing precisely what their job is, and what a lot of people are giving her a lot of money to do
