page 636 of the manuel mentions the gramophone and some of the songs, but does not mention the one in question.

Title
Auf der Reeperbahn nachts um halb eins translated title On the Reeperbahn at half past midnight Originated From Film http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gro%C3%9Fe_Freiheit_Nr._7 back story das reeperbahn is a street in the red light district / bar / party area of hamburg's St. Pauli district. Performer Hans Albers Year of release 1944 in film as referenced above EDIT: the song is basically about strolling down this particular street in more or less a drunken state in the hopes of finding a woman, or settling for the fact of finding none, but enjoying the fact that you took the stumbling stroll down the party street anyhow no matter if you were successful with the ladies or not! LOL i dont know the full english lyrics and have been unable to find them, but from what little i can pick up thats the gist check GWX manual page 511... it details the title, composer, artist and year of the gramophone tracks in GWX

Interesting stuff I did not know. On the other hand, whoever put together the 'German Hits' files I share had 'Auf der Reeperbahn' listed as a 1919 release. I can't find anything more on that, so take it for what it's worth.

I have a program on my phone called Sound Hound...if you hear a song that you dont know let the program listen to it and it can usually find it, not sure it goes back that far though.
