Can't see bump maps on subs
Im using the game's bumpmaps NormalmapTextureName=data/Submarine/NSS_Tambor/NSS_TamborTower_N01.tga and I added the line in both the upc and cfg, but I still cant see the bump map!!!
I have an NVIDA GTX 780 and a fast machine. Before I can make my own bump maps I first have to get the game's ones working! ![]() |

In a related matter, I was trying to get some high res skins instead of the blocks I now see.
![]() It looks great in photoshop but the game still renders it blocky. |

I never messed with it but you might be able to find a couple of skins and cross reference them to your's, maybe that 'll give you an idea as to what you need to do.
It could also be a graphics setting, there's a 'Nvidia tweaks' sticky that might help you get that smooth edged gameplay. |

This is how it looks in my bump mapping software, MindTex, but not in the game.
![]() I added the values to the upc files but I still can't see them. This is the hull of the S-18. Any ideas? I cant even see them with TMO on my sub, but I can see them on enemy ships fine.

Ok, I figured it our if anyone else has this problem. For me, the bump maps don't show with dark hulls. You have to use one of the lighter hulls. Cheers!
