Welcome to industry. This is why we have pollution controls.

London had a few nasty smogs, we called them 'pea-soupers' because of the consistency of the smog was akin to pea soup.

It got so bad that the Metropolitan police had to employ Bane to help clear it, and even then it gave him a bad case of asthma that would affect his voice for the rest of his life.
