Default Upgrade Video card for SH5

I've been playing SH5 with an old nvidia GeForce 8500 512 mb video card. It plays, but in convoy situations, it gets "sluggish".

I was given an AMD Radeon HIS 2GB, DDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 video card.

WIll this help?

I don't know much about that card. What are your other specs? Processor, RAM that kind of thing.

yes that will help, but if your running that low of a video card now im assuming your computer is of same age as video card. the pci slot may or may not handle it and also your power supply will need to be upgraded as well to if the AMD has plug ins on it. a 500 watt should be enough for one card. really the only thing you really need to do is put it in and see.

Yes, my computer is old. (8 years)

When I built it, it came with a 600 watt ps. I burnt out so I replaced it with a 700 watt.

It has 2 Hata slots, 2 Sata slotes, and 2 PCie slots.

I have been using a AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (2 GB ) for awhile with no issues and no complaints. May not be exactly your card but may be similar. If that helps

Lost my power supply cords, but ordered one from newegg, awaiting it to be delivered.

I'll know in a day or two.
