These will seem very basic questions but with my limited knowledge of how the game works, I am quite happy playing the game and looking to others, who are far more knowledgeable than I, for appropriate advice . . .
I recently downloaded MFM-v3.3 and installed it into the game using JSGME. The game loads and runs fine but I cannot see any difference to the merchant ships that I encounter - what have I done wrong or what have I not done? Do I need to load or move various ship skins? My second question concerns lost careers - twice now, I have accidentally clicked on 'New Career' when loading a previously saved game - the last time I did this was en-route home from Spain and crossing the Bay of Biscay in real life - the ship rolled and my finger hit the touchpad in the wrong place! I lost months of hard work and had to start over. When this happens the previously saved game is completely deleted and I haven't found a way to recover it. Has anyone developed a tool to prevent this or to recover deleted games? Thank you . . . |

The MFM adds a lot of new ships, but doesn't remove the old ones. You may have just not seen any yet.

But the easiest way is make a copy of youre SH3-folder in 'My Documents'-folder before playing. This is normaly the place where the game saves your progress. If you have a copy of this you can go easily one step back. Greetings. |
