Default Radio won't stop!!

Ugh so I exited the game while the radio was playing and now I load up the game and the radio is playing. I can't stop it. If I click stop the game seems to think it is stopped because the normal background music starts playing, but the radio station continues! It's weird.

Is there any way to kill this? I was thinking of temporarily deleting the radio folder or is this not a good idea?

Thanks Snoeky, when I change stations, I get the second station playing on top of the station running. It's hard to explain.
Then if I hit the STOP button, the game default background music starts playing but the radio is still going.

The HQ messages I thought were a totally different thing. I'm not speaking about the HQ radio messages (text messages). I'm talking about the radio that you can add stations to.

I was hoping that there was a setting in one of the saved game files that showed whether or not the radio was on and maybe that could be reset.
