Default Noob here. Any guide for sub classes best cruise etc?

Ahoy!

I've played SH3 a bit but not in years and looking forward to getting back under water Are there any user made guides or charts that would make for good reading over cofee while taking a break from the real world? I was esp thinking of learning about most economical cruise speeds fro various types.

Oh, I've installed SH4 and the U-boat expanison. (How cool is that!)

Thank you and

Wow, I can't believe it's been that long! Makes sense though I had some major changes about then. Glad to see this place is as great as ever!

There are various guides, how-tos' and whatnot, but I learned how to play by playing SHCE, being riddled by Japanese shells, and reading books about the real war. If you played SH3 a lot, you will probably be able to pick up SH4 ok.

About the cruising speeds, ~ 9 kn. for all US fleetboats, and ~ 6.5 for S-class boats. At least with the mods I use.

It is good that you have the latest version of the game. This will save you many headaches.

Good luck, and good hunting!
