Default UK Widow beheaded in Edmonton

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/ne...-30563858.html

Quote:
An elderly woman was beheaded in broad daylight in a horrific attack in a suburban back garden.

Palmira Silva, 82, who is believed to be of Italian descent, was found dead outside a house in Edmonton, north London.

Tributes were paid to Ms Silva, who is thought to have worked in a nearby cafe, as a 25-year-old man held in connection with the killing remained under police guard in hospital.

The man was Tasered and arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene in Nightingale Road by armed officers, some of whom were injured in a struggle.

Witnesses described seeing a man dressed in black, waving a machete-like weapon as he wandered screaming and shouting through private gardens.

Oh, thank god this maniac was not shot and killed! Even if some of the police were injured, they rightfully used a taser to take him down, so now he can spend the rest of his days in prison.

He wasn't shot and killed because the police responding didn't have guns; they had to wait for the special police that did...

As an aside, am I a bad person for feeling worse about the cat this psycho decapitated than the old lady? When I read the story and saw the old lady I was like "that's sad," but when I read the part about the guy killing a cat I was like "OMG that's awful "

Yeah, you are. I knew when I read the bit about the cat that it would outrage some people more than the death of the woman. But, let's be thankful it wasn't a dog, wow, meltdown time.

I read this comment on one of the news sites that covered this story:
Quote:
Hate to admit it, but I instantly profiled the guy as Muslim. Here's hoping he's just another crazy white Protestant Brit.
Just shows how sick PC people are, he would be ok with it as long as it did not paint the Muslims picture any darker.

He was just relieved that fear mongers won't be getting another train cart of ammunition.

It looks like the murderer had mental health issues...he should be relieved there wasn't an armed response unit in the vicinity otherwise all his issues would/should have been resolved in a flash.

Well that depends. This mornings shooting came about because the hostage situation was going downhill.

That makes no sense. The quote you provide is the opposite of what you want to portray.

Here's an armed response unit doing what they do:

If only that was the case, but no, they will still dig it up:

You will like the video with Pat Condell I linked to in the Rotherham thread.
