A White Castle employee has to jump on his Segway and chase Aktungbby down the freeway waving a $300.00 check in the air!

You just made my day August.

I wonder how many others there are that we don't know about.

Thanks for posting.

Considering the total population of the planet...possibly a million.

Then there are the ten million jerks who would take advantage of that million out of their selfishness.

I prefer anonymity when I shine my light on the world.
Recognition is not a word found in the Good Samaritan's vocabulary.

Nah I believe there are way more awesome folks than there are jerks in the world. Doing good deeds just aren't"newsworthy" so you rarely hear about them.

Good people doing good things.

And yes there are millions and millions of goodly people doing goodly things every day.

There are some who feel that getting recognition diminishes their charitable work so they avoid recognition.

That combined with a news industry which is less interested in good things being done by good people and more interested in celebrities who do little without recognition (not all celebrities are like this, but far too many).

It is easy to get jaded and cynical (two of my defining characteristics) because all we hear is bad news. But the world is full of good people. We have to understand that.
