I'm playing GWX. Can escorts see the wake of steam torpedoes at night? If you fire one at an unsuspecting escort at night will they try to evade like they would during the day?

An escort (lone or in convoy) can see a steam torpedo, but will not always see it, depending on conditions. If it does, it will try to evade. If an escort sees it, all merchants AND warships in the attached convoy will start to zig zag, but that is all they will do. (Odd I know.. but, yes, HMS Hood will do the same drill as a coastal freighter). Many say merchants (or warships in convoy) can see bubble trails. I have tested this over and over again in single missions, and do not believe they can (or if they can, never do).
