So she's been shown up again it seems:

And while we are on the talked-about subject of seeming 'out of touch', there's this: Quote:
Well and truly underway for her 2016 aspirations? Politics being politics, maybe just nit-picking. |

She can run, but I can't see her getting anywhere near the throne, not unless the Dems particularly don't want to win the 2016 election. She's toxic goods sadly, so the hands that pull the strings will make sure she doesn't make it.

Honestly I think she's starting to loose her mind some. She's seemed off in recent interviews that i've seen.

She does seem off her game, not that I hardly agreed with her game. I think she had her peak.....
Course, the GOP tends to run nuts, so I wouldn't call it game over.

So: 1) Will she run? Almost certainly yes; barring something really big (serious undisclosed medical issues). 2) If she funds, will she win the primary? Again, almost certainly yes. If she runs, there will be no opposition within the party. No Dem is going to challenge her. 3) If she wins the nomination will she win the election? Strange as it may seem, probably. With Chris Christie on the ropes politically, the Republican field is a bit weak. They have to find something other than Benghazi to attack her with. So far, that one has played well only to the Republican base. Nothing has really changed in the polls over the last year or so. http://www.pollingreport.com/2016.htm Now, should Jeb Bush run and win the GOP nomination that would be weird, especially to the ears. Clinton versus Bush. Like a time warp to 1992. |

The GOP didn't try hard enough to handle Palin.

It all depends on who the Republicans put up against her. If they continue putting up dunderheads, she can be elected. There are too many voters who find themselves not voting for a candidate but voting against a candidate.
If the GOP were to put up a truly moderate conservative, distanced from the Tea party and the religious nutters, the GOP could sweep the elections. ![]() When will the parties realize that the majority of the people want moderation in their government? Extremists from either end are equally bad for this country in my opinion.

Mitt also suffered from the effect Paul Ryan had on his White House run. Ryan, who came out strong with some possible economic solutions, came up lame and silent towards the end of the campaign; and, whoever thought it would be a good idea to have Ryan try to pull a Putin-like "he-man" image in the latter part of the run needs to be given professional help...

The GOP still doesn't have a chance the way theyre going. When your most vocal members are also the most backwards and insane, voters stay away. When your actions suggest you forgot to take your medication today, voters stay away. When you devote yourself to being an obstructionist, including being the all-time least productive congress in history, voters stay away. When you call for mass amounts of "poll watchers" to intimidate voters into not voting, which oddly enough affects democrats the most, voters sure as HELL aren't going to vote for you.
The GOP leadership is chalked with ultra conservative dinosaurs who still live in the 1960s. Its quite evident how detached from today many leaders seem to be. Until that changes, the GOP will continue to lose the presidency. Presidents, more so than any other elected official, are intensely scrutinized and observed. That's why Mitt romney lost, that's definitely why McCain lost (thank god), and thats going to be why the GOP is going to lose in 2016. The other thing about the GOP is that it seems to discourage competent, moderate, middle-ground runners. If their stance takes a middle ground, they dont want them. If they are willing to actually compromise, they dont like them. mitt romney seemed to take much more moderate stances on things before he was in the running. But as soon as he became the republican candidate, the GOP pressured him into their way of doing things, and any semblance of moderation went out the window. Not to mention, all these dinosaurs from both parties like to indoctrinate their children into their way of thinking, while simultaneously not giving the YOUTH and middle-aged in this country the time of day in their policy-making. Senators who have held their seat for 30+ years need to get evicted so the people who are ACTUALLY going to be around when these policies take effect can decide what happens to this country instead of 80 year old men on their last leg who still like to believe its 1960. Hillary Clinton lost the primary before. I dont think shes gonna win again assuming she runs. Unless a democrat candidate can out-crazy the GOP, its going to be another 4 more years of democrats in the WH, and of course, another 4 years of obstructionist congress unwilling to consider nor work with each other. Its going to be the same old same old. I just wish we could all be independents so this petty tribalism stops. i just wish both parties didnt act like 5 year olds. Its really pathetic when 50+ year old men fight like kindergarteners. Although its extremely improbable, i hope politics in this country matures past this era of obstructionist tribalism.
