Mega-Mod for SH4 1.4

hi all.
returning to the forums after being away for an extended..ah..cruise.

i have SH4 (non-gold) patched to 1.4.

what recommendations can i get from the group for a good mega-mod
for my game?

i was looking at trigger-maru. i had it several years ago. but i see it's now set up for gold 1.5, and in fact was not compatible with my version.

Welcome aboard!

If you like the game and can do it, get v1.5. Most of the mods require it.

i have just discovered that i do have the missions pack. so i can patch to 1.5.

so, i amend my question to ask what 1.5 mods would you all recommend?

for the stock "plain" game use my GFO mod

for added difficulty and realism use RFB or TMO (most prefer TMO) and if you use RFB make sure any mods you use with it say they are made to work with RFB or it can cause side effects and CTD issues. TMO does not have as much issues with using other mods with it but you have to watch because some mods will change how the AI reacts in TMO.

and then there is FOTRS which is a different flavor mod that tries a nice mix of realism along with its own changed to the campaign but it should be used by itself without any other mods or it will have CTD issues
