Runtime Error + Can't Ask Crew for Target's Speed Estimation

I was playing the torpedo tutorial mission then out of the clear blue, my game crashed. This time it wasn't just an .exe crash it was a "Runtime Error" something to do with C++ as it appeared on the error window. I have absolutely 0 knowledge in that.

Anyways, after that I simply re-launched the game. Everything seemed fine at first, went back to the torpedo tutorial mission. Before I go further with the problem, when I use manual TDC I take the first range, wait for about 15 seconds then take the second range then ask the crew for an estimation of taget's speed and course. So as we all know the crew needs at least 2 range readings before they can estimate the target's speed.

After that C++ Runtime error, they can't estimate anything anymore, they just kept saying could not compute, need at least 2 range readings despite me taking at least 3 range readings before asking for an estimation.

I'm not saying that there is a correlation between the C++ error and speed estimation error as I have absolutely no knowledge in these things but something has definitely messed up here. I have yet to find other errors but that is the one thing I noticed after that crash.

I do have some mods installed, I've never had any serious problems with them until now.

SH4 + UBM v1.5

TMO
RSRDC
OTC
Traveller

I've tried restarting the game a few times but it didn't work.

Any ideas?

Don't know about the crash thing, make sure all your mods are the right ones for TMO is about all I can say.

As for the manual targeting and getting the crew to give you course and speed, I never bother with it, doesn't work right most of the time.

Here is a link that shows what I do and what I advise new manual targeting captains.

Read the whole post, might give you some good ideas.

Make sure your running the RSRD patch after RSRD and make sure that all version of mods your using are actually for that one specific version of TMO.

There are multiple versions of TMO and multiple version of RSRD, OTC and Traveller. If one is not specifically for the others your going to have issues.
