Default Skin help

Hi guys,

How do the add on skins work for SH4? Are the skins applied to the entire class of boat or do you link them with the specific name of the boat?

If you start a career is there any way to specify a certain boat name and skin to use?

Thanks

There is a skin for each class of boat and there are low res, and high res files. There may also be an early war and late war version. The conning towers also have their own respective skins, so a skin change will affect the hull or the conning tower only respectively. If you have TMO there is the Measure 32 paint scheme which can be applied as an upgrade pack in the office menu. If you change a skin with TMO, you will either change the default or the measure 32. The easiest way to figure it out though is to look for .dds files, these are the skin files.

Thanks Snarf

I'll check out the .dds files when I get home.
