Complete loss of Career save files

On one of my newest skippers and the first once I've been playing so far this year (2014) I loaded SH3 via commander the other evening to find the whole entire bunch of career save files completely gone and the directory (within the game) completely BLANK!

I checked into the relevant folder within Windows xplorer and notice all files still intact!

Anyone got any ideas of what's gone wrong?

Yup, it's a bug. Change the foldername that is your commander's name. Just one character added should do, and it wil show up again. It may not look good from then on, but your savegames are more important.
