I got to reach Python in the south atlantic in early November 1941 after a long trip down past Africa. I got over 60.000 tons on the way though, thanks to meeting a big convoy coming out of Freetown and an ocean liner in the Guinea sea. I thought that since I was in the neighborhood I should try to get down to South Africa, never been there before and I don't know if I'd get the opportunity again in my career.
So my question is this: is there any particular spot or tactic in the South atlantic? Maybe is going to Argentina worth a try? I don't want to waste my time there being in the wrong square because I might never get the chance to show my crew the south seas ever again! I need the advice of expert captains! Thanks for your help!
