Default If this isn't a real love story, then I don't know what is

Could it be more devotion than this?

While I applaud his devotion I can't help but think that a cremation with an urn on the mantel would have been much more comfortable.

Most likely they are of the Catholic religion and believe in burial.

The missionaries that went with the conquistadors did their jerbs well.

I am not sure I know how I feel about this.

On one hand it is touching, but on the other it may be an indicator that this man is having difficulty with the grieving process.

But everyone grieves differently.

I've seen other long term relationships that usually end with both partners dying in close proximity to one another. One goes and the other isn't far behind.
I guess you could say that the surviving spouse dies of a broken heart.

I have to agree with Platapus. It is a touching story but seems to indicate an inability to bring the grieving to an end. I wonder if that's what his wife would have wanted. A sad way to end a life. Still you have to admire his dedication.

Poor Rocky could have been suffering from a mild case of Prototemporal Dementia. RIP buddy.

A bit extreme and I wouldn't consider it any more a love story than those that lose and move on for themselves, family, children...etc...
