Silent Hunter 5 No dialog and not able to speak to staff

So, i recently bought Silent Hunter 5 , and i can't continue the campaign.
As i enter Kiel after the tutorial mission, my captain starts his story, but then he stops. And where the ''corvette kaptain'' should do his story, nothing happens. No model, no sound.
after the speech i walk towards the guy in the yellow shirt to ask about upgrades and such. He greets me, but nothing happens. Some time after i tried talking to the engineer, the missing lines from the first scene suddenly sound. and the captain suddenyl appears to the right of the engineer. I am unable to talk to him aswell.
While all this is going on, my U-boat comes crashing in hitting every wall it encounters.

I tried reloading the campaign, but the camera falls trough the dock as soon as it loads, and im unable to do anything.

I also tried restarting, reinstalling the game or rebooting my computer, but nothing works.

Neither can i skip the tutorial, and there is no ''Careeroptions'' file to edit, even though i did complete the tutorial several times.

This is very frustrating, and i just want to be able to play the game, can anybody help me?

Have you enabled any mod? If yes, which one(s) and in which order?

no mods, completely stock.

That's most odd. Never heard of something like this before. What are your system specs?

Is the game patched to 1.2? Version shows up on main screen in upper right corner.

yes, the game is patched to 1.2, ive double checked it by reinstalling the 1.2 patch but it doesnt make a difference. I've read about bugs and crashes before 1.2, and that the game is finally playable after 1.2. Not so for me...

so, ive tried installing the game on my laptop, completely different specs, and a different system (windows 8). Guess what....
EXACTLY the same problem...... how is this even possible?

With a clean install of the game, make sure you validate your files to make sure you game is downloading correctly.

i am a complete and utter retard.....
when i come steaming in the docks this problem occurs, no one told me to press the little anchor thing in the top right to dock! this fixes the problem!
it works like a charm now, thats for the support anyway guys!
