Taking a walk on Europe's highest suspension bridge

Quote:
Mount Titlis in the Swiss Alps is home to Europe's highest suspension bridge.

The pedestrian bridge in central Switzerland is around 3,000m (10,000 ft) above sea level, and 91m long (300 ft) but just 1m (3ft) wide.

It was built to mark the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Engelberg-Gerschnialp cable car in January 1913.

I see a major difference. Climbing a rock wall takes skill, training and determination. Crossing the bridge only takes the overcoming of the natural fear of heights. I could cross the bridge easily (not sure that I would want to, though). There is no way I could ever climb that cliff.

I'd cross that bridge with no worries, I wouldn't climb that rock!

I hope everyone breaks step on that bridge, if it bounces around with just a few people on it if everyone was in step it'd oscillate like an illegitimate child. OK, so it turns out I do have one worry about that bridge - other people - but not the bridge itself.

I think I'd get a nose bleed just thinking about it
