Should be of interest especially to those of you who are British.
Just enter your post code and see how well or badly your nearest major A&E in England is performing. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-25055444 |

edit: can't link to individual results, my local seems to ok this week, slightly worse than UK average overall.
Slightly OT, how's your daughter after coming out of hospital Fubar? Did you all have a good xmas?

A great xmas and new year by all thanks Tango. A slightly sour note tho regarding my daughter. Things took a bit of a tumble last Friday, the hospital wanted to readmit her after having pains in her pelvis and kidneys. Alas my daughter is somewhat stubborn

Not good to be stubborn about body pains and health; I ignored what I thought was just chronic indigestion and heartburn for years. Turned out to be gall stones and it developed into pancreatitis. The surgeon said I had a veritable rock garden in my innards. Took the removal of my gall bladder and three weeks in the hosipital to sort it out, not counting about three or four months of the recovery process. Best to just go in and get it done with; thus far, all the subsequent maladies I've had checked recently have been minor or of no cosequence. I hope you can urge her to go and get the scans done and I hope she has a very good outcome...
