Dang you. If I hadn't been held over at work, I would have beat you to it.

I didn't read the article yet, and still that was the first thing I thought of....

I'm not much on buying movies or even albums. But I did buy the Top Gun Movie and the Saving Private Ryan Movie. And one submarine movie U-571 and the movie Gladiator. So you can figure out what I like pretty easily. WWII, Modern Jets and ancient Roman warriors. There is a theme here. All are war movies.

I hated when the Cable TV channels History Channel stopped showing WWII movies all the time and instead started showing shows like American Pickers which I hate. That's not the type of history I like to watch or talk about.

BTW the movie Top Gun has to be my all time favorite movie in modern times. My favorite computer game was Fleet Defender in which one emulates flying an F14 Tomcat Jet and trying to land on the deck of the carrier at night and in a thunder storm. I spent hours trying to do that. The older computer was laggy and made it harder to fly. And it was hard to configure the DOS computer's memory to get the game to actually run. I had to learn about memory locations and autoexec.bat and config.sys files etc.

Later I got into an online game that featured over 100 different types of WWII air craft from five different countries and later the game included jets from the USA and China/Russia in a Korean War Game. I spent many hours in that game over a ten year period of time.
